Direct Action Ideas (please provide details and links)

Dec 17 3 month birthday - bring a candle and ONE THING YOU WANT IN A BETTER WORLD:

(Stephen Said) Hi everyone, with the coming of Dec 17, the 1 year anniversary of Mohamed Bouazizi's self-giving, 3 months birthday of the Occupy Movement, a number of us are proposing we gather and call for people to join us worldwide in a beautiful mass action in the name of uniting movements worldwide for a more equitable world. Our aim could be to join together at occupations or chosen spots, for example in NYC at Union Square or Zuccotti, at 7pm, with candles, singing songs that artists bring to the table and distribute for us to learn in advance. Come with your #1 wish for a better world on a poster, or make it there, we'll have the candles and the paper and pens. Simple, beautiful, global, undeniable. Lets create something beautiful that brings us together. If you're interested in this idea let's build a discussion about it.

It sounds like this could pretty easily be incorporated into the "week of action" the Direct Action WG is planning for Dec 10-17.
