Sen. Mike Gravel on Occupy, Vietnam and Direct Democracy

Sen. Gravel did more than anyone to end the Vietnam war. He filibustered solo until it was agreed to wind down the military draft. During the filibuster he read the Pentagon Papers into the record, which helped get Daniel Ellsberg off the hook for leaking them. The Papers revealed how 3 Presidents lied to get us into and keep us in the war. I worked directly with Mike in 2002. This is by FAR his best interview.
